Safe
Plate
Safe Plate is a digital platform that allows users to search restaurants to find their menus. The unique aspect of the app is that the menu lists which (if any) of the seven most common food allergies are in each dish. This allows users to quickly scan a menu and determine which foods are safe for them to eat. As well as an easy way for users to find out if they can safely dine at certain restaurants.
SafePlate is a fictional company of my own creation.
Design Objectives
Build a brand identity. The logo and brand should establish the company as trustworthy, safe, and friendly. The brand needs to be incorporated into printed materials for the company, as well as a digital presence, and branding within a mobile app and website.
Once a brand identity is created, designs must be consistent across platforms and marketing efforts. A stationery set is developed for marketing uses, and to promote the brand digitally and in print.

This project has shown me more about how color and patterns can be incorporated into branding for a company. As well as playing with how they are used to create variations for different assets. I also learned more about all of the different, but necessary, places where branding needs to be established.
