Design Objectives
Acceleris is a local startup that is working to develop a mobile app that addresses the problems of digital addiction. The primary feature of the app is to block harmful sites and apps, as well as providing guidance to improve habits. The company is currently creating the app, and while that is happening, the founders are applying to programs and recruiting student workers.
Using the UI from the mobile app design, I have chosen colors for the brand. I have offered assistance to the startup primarily by designing pitch decks that they can use to apply to programs or recruiting students.
In the future I hope to work on more branding for the company, as well as creating a website for them.
Colors
Founder prefers the dark mode theme, but didn’t fully love the accent colors. I used
their UI design as inspiration to find new colors that are similar, but that the founder
preferred over the current ones.
Presentations

Takeaways from this project:
I had a lot of fun playing with the colors and gradients in this project! It was good practice in designing presentations to effectively display information, and tell the story of the company. It was an interesting challenge that most of the slides has three or four short pieces of information that needed to be included. It forced me to think creatively to make each of those slides unique, rather than always using three boxes.
With this project, I started designing the slides in Adobe Illustrator. However, I wanted to see if I could recreate the design elements using the tools on Powerpoint so that the Acceleris founders could edit the slides if needed. I was able to create a template slide that had all of the gradient boxes, and editable gradient text.
